Yes you cannot be satisfied with all the material things around you. Bo was spot on when saying that after you have your toy and get tired of it you will want another one. There is one and only one who can satisfy your longing to be happy and that is Our Lord and Our God, Jesus Christ. Spend time with Him. Go to your nearest church and spend an hour or so with Him in adoration. You want to be always close to God? Live in a state of grace, do regular confessions. Remember only God can give you the graces that you need to make your soul grow in faith. No human being can offer you any promises of spiritual nourishment. Only the Holy Spirit Himself can truly convert you and make you understand the true meaning of happiness. Our One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Jesus has all the teachings, traditions and knowledge for the true happiness in this world and the salvation of our soul. Yes, salvation of our soul, that is our ultimate goal not just to have a quick nice and cuddly "feel good" immediate effect that might just side track us and make us miss the real path to holiness. Let's not shop around for answers here and there. Let's go straight to the repository of the true knowledge, the Catholic Church, in which even the gates of hell could not prevail.
