Thank you too for you prayers my brother/sister “not a follower of Opera Winfrey”. I thought I would just move on to another topic but I feel a great urge to contribute more on this issue of "not judging others”. It is very true that one should not judge others just to boost his/her own ego. However in the context of our discussion I was referring to the potential danger of falling into false belief or following wrong teachings. As far as I can tell (and please correct me if I'm wrong) Operah (and a lot of similar people in the net/media) is “preaching” beliefs that are contrary to our Catholic church. We have no right (and we should not) judge Operah as a person (and you said that she had a sad past, we should pray for her) but we have to be careful of the messages that she is promoting. To end this issue, we should listen and study what our Holy Father is saying about “relativism” (a Google search with give you heaps of answers). I will pray that we can hear/learn more about our church's teachings in this site.

hello Bro Bo! Wow..naka-relate po talga ako sa sharing mo today... Truly, life is hard if we will talk about financially... But so far, everything still turns out ryt and blessings still come unexpectedly sometimes... Just want to share how my life is..Me? at this age of 26, I'm just earning 8,500 monthly, single.. and I have my obligation to my family, I pay for the monthly tuition for my younger brother, my share for the water bill and gasul every month, I also give the part of my mother in my salary every pay day, the grocery for my family every pay day and including my allowance too... Honestly, its hard..bec financially, short talga..but in God's grace nagiging maayos parin ang lahat and nakakaraos rin everyday... Nwei, I still believe God will provide everything... Again, Bro Bo tnx for ur sharing today..Be very blessed too!... Enjoy the tym with ur family!... God bless!

Thank you, Michael Delos Santos, for praying for me. I want you to know that I'm not a follower of Oprah Winfrey. I just happen to watch the YouTube of her making the Commencement Speech for Standford University last Sunday. I do admire her because she came from a poor family and was a victim of sexual abuse and like Bro. Bo, has become a better person despite her past. Instead of channeling her pain and grief with bitterness she was able to learn to be at peace and learn to give to the world. We shouldn't judge others...and like you I, too, watch Bro. Bo everyday to be inspired with his inspirational messages. God Bless you and may God continue to increase your faith too.

Oprah Winfrey? ....I will pray for you. That you will not be misled in your journey. There are lots of characters now on TV/Internet who promote a "feel good" style teachings. Beware, check them out very carefully. Remember the "enemy" is a master of lies and disguises. He/she can appear just nice and wholesome to anyone. Remember to always compare notes with our church's basic/core teachings and don't always fall for "feel good" messages. Use this wonderful technology called the internet to check if you want to find out if you are hearing the right messages and is not in conflict with our faith. Even groups now who advertise that they are catholic do not really practice and promote true catholic teachings. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a very good start. Pray to the Holy Spirit that He will nourish your soul so that you can grow in your faith through the witness of our One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
