Thats a lovely idea Bro. Bo. I have a sudden realization that being in a prayer group is like being in that bowl. It's nice because the water is from the river. However the thing that we should be more focusing on is the big river of the One Holy Catholic Church. It is the big river that flows directly from the source who is Jesus Himself. A lot of people already started to make their own bowl to contain the water from the river, creating their own mini/little groupings and trying to (deliberately or not) get people to belong to their bowl instead of leading people to the river. Let us lead people to the river guys, not just be content being in that bowl. I guess I am just at lost because I always feel that here we are being pounded on to belong to a certain group to be more "nourished". Regular Catholic spirituality is rarely mentioned here. It is so "simplified" and "localized" here that I feel that we are not being lead to the big river but more on encourage to belong to a certain family that is presented to be as a "better" option. Hmmm. I hope that someone will explain this to me.
